HATHA YOGA
Creates mindfulness that activates and deepens internal energy and promotes spiritual growth, with a goal of being a calming, energizing, integrative and transformative experience. Yoga can be used to help control stress, increase self awareness and decrease anxiety or depression by releasing tension from large muscles, improving concentration through focused breathing and helping to create emotional stability and clear thoughts.

Heather teaches Hatha Yoga with a sensitive focus on physiological alignment.



PRENATAL & POSPARTUM YOGA 
Heather has special training in prenatal and postpartum Yoga, she trained in New York City with Mary Barnes an Anusaura inspired prenatal teacher. www.yogafortwo.com/method.html

In addition Heather is trained in the Tupler technique - a specialization that helps her to teach you how to get rid of the baby belly after birthing. The focus of this system is using a set of exercises and breathing to close your diastasis. A diastasis is a separation of the rectus abdominis (outermost abdominal muscles). When these muscles separate the connective tissue that joins them stretches sideways. The more it stretches sideways the thinner and weaker it becomes.  When you close this separation you will have a flatter belly, a smaller waist, and a stronger back.


SERVICES


Friend Sessions
If you organize a group of 3-4 friends and provide a space I will come to your home and give a  group lesson. This is especially  fun for a group of new moms that want to stretch, strengthen their cores, and also be near their babes. Friend sessions are one and a half hours long.

$40/person/session. Hostess gets half off of this session.


Private Sessions

Sessions in your home or my home studio. Focus on therapeutics or the area of your choice.

$70/hour.
